Internship - Public Relations

We have an immediate internship opening in our Public Relations practice. We immerse our interns in a broad range of hands-on PR activities such as media pitching, preparing news releases, media advisories, newsletter articles, research, client team meetings and communications planning meetings. Presentation development and marketing projects may also be included. Internships are part-time and non-paid. Work hours can be flexible and scheduled around classes. Applicants of college junior status or higher are preferred and should possess excellent writing and formatting skills, including experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2008 with a Mac. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, QuarkXPress or InDesign is preferred. Must be ready and willing to work in an office environment, which entails handling sensitive, confidential information and interacting professionally with colleagues and clients.

Senior Account Executive - Public Relations

Public Relations professional with a minimum of three years agency or journalism experience wanted. Candidate must have solid media relations experience in pitching stories and managing issues; excellent writing skills with experience in developing full-service public relations programs, press releases, and op-eds; experience in client consulting, training clients in public speaking, and preparing clients for media interviews; and budget management. Must have excellent project and time-management skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment. Supervisory and prior agency experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel at an intermediate level highly desired.
